Evaluating the asset, the (FTC) Federal Trade Commission took over the subject property and appointed Steve Donell, as Receiver. The Seymour Group was engaged to provide a (BOV) Broker’s Opinion of Value which came to $15,000,000. With the BOV in place, the court approved the hiring The Seymour Group as the new listing agent.
The home was previously listed with a different well known westside agent and was on the market for a combined 618 days which saw four price reductions from $22,000,000 to $15,000,000. Even after multiple price reductions, the residence did not sell.
